Hey there — I’m David Cordova, just a regular guy with an untrained (but lovable)Blue Nose Pittbull rescue named Blue. I adopted him from the Tulsa Animal Welfare Center when he was on his last chance list. From the moment we met, Blue became family. Now, we’re doing our best to navigate life together — learning, growing, and making the most out of every day.

Cordova’s Corner is a place for dog lovers who believe in second chances and real experiences. I built this site to share what’s working for us — and to help others like you give your dogs a healthy, happy life.

💙 Blue's Story: From His Last Chance to Our Best Life

 

Meet Blue, the two-year-old Blue Nose Pit Bull who is the heart and soul of Cordova's Corner. Just four months ago, Blue was living on borrowed time at a local shelter, a sweet face on the "last chance" list who simply needed someone to see past his kennel bars and give him a new beginning.

We found each other, and from that day on, he stopped being a number and became family.

Blue's journey isn't always easy; like many rescue dogs, he has his quirks, including challenging skin allergies that require special care and attention. But he tackles every day with a hilarious zest for life! He is incredibly smart, funny, and his greatest joy is charging around the dog park—a true testament to the power of a second chance.

As the official Chief Product Tester for the website, Blue is obsessed with play. He loves nothing more than to showcase and try out every different chew toy he can get his paws on, proving which ones are truly durable and worth your investment.

Cordova's Corner is dedicated to Blue and every other dog like him. This site is for the dedicated owners who open their hearts and homes to rescue dogs, fulfilling those dogs' lives with love, health, and happiness.
